Mona Vale is Tasmania’s largest private Victorian mansion, and is known as the ‘Calendar House’. It supposedly has 52 rooms (weeks/yr), 4 storeys (seasons/yr), 365 windows (days/yr) and 12 main chimneys (months/yr). How apocryphal this ordering actually might be is a moot question, but it is in the right order of magnitude; the mansion is huge.
