Matt Sansom | Associate
Matt Sansom graduated with a Masters in Architecture from the School Architecture at the University of Tasmania in 2014 where he received a High Distinction for his final project.
He was awarded the Barrie McNeill prize by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (Tasmanian Chapter) as the top graduate from the University of Tasmania School of Architecture and Design in his final year.
In 2014 Matt was granted a research scholarship by the Hobart City Council in order to investigate the future use of the heritage-listed Dorney House. This has led to a wider interest in 20th century modernism and how it has been executed in Tasmania.
Matt has been placed on the UTAS Dean’s Roll of Excellence in both 2010 and 2012, formerly a committee member of EAT (Emerging Architects Tasmania) and sits on the AIA Tas Awards taskgroup.
